I've experimented a bit with newer tools, and love the texture inherent in the process of 3D printing in bronze-infused stainless steel. These rings are built in thin layers, with a printer depositing little bits of glue and stainless steel powder over and over again. Once that has dried, the glue is replaced with bronze so you have a full metal piece. When I get these prints, I shine up some parts and rough up others for a more striking contrast.
